Artist's Comments

Request from an awesome coworker and friend, Chelsea, of two original characters of mine in their creature forms. A subtitle to this picture would be "The Squirrel and The Dragon", and that's one very odd partnership no matter what.

I learned that if I'm going to draw on something larger than the scanner can handle, I have to be extra careful! The computer almost died several times because of it. OTL

Ballpoint pens are fun!

I wish I did more pieces like this, but they are huge time-killers. ;_; Heck, I'd do more art at work if I didn't have bad timing with guests always running up whenever I'd start. Must get a new small sketchbook just in case... You can be the master of sharpies, and I'll be the master of ballpoint pens! ^o^

True. But hey I don't draw with sharpies right off the bat. But you just draw them straight on the paper with the ballpoint pen! Amazing!!!

Hehe a squirrel and a dragon are definitely an odd combo but they both look surprisingly bad-donkey! XD You're really good at light, shadow, texture and shine! o.o

Hehehe, thanks Devin! :D When I get the story progressed enough (as in whenever I'm able to get the comic seriously going), it'll probably be even stranger. :P Sorry I was rambling so much and I think you must have been super confused again. ^^; Must control rambling urge! D:

I still cant believe how awesome this is. I couldn't stop looking at the tissue box drawing the other day. This looks perfect and so professional. I think its so original and so clean. GREAT JOB

Poor unfinished kleenex box drawing. XD; Not sure if I'll ever have time at work to finish it, thus my lack of drawing examples to show you that day. You'll get to see that character again sometime, probably sooner than later. But now you know what I can come up with when I'm not limited to drawing on small cardboard pieces, yes? :P Maybe if we have a day that's not busy, we can doodle with pen together? Much practice makes it easier! Hehehe, thanks a bunch, Jeremy! :3

I should ask, do you have any creatures you've designed yourself? :D
